DNS & Domain Infrastructure
European DNS infrastructure is serviceable but fragmented, with Gandi, deSEC, and ClouDNS offering managed DNS with DNSSEC support, and the EU-funded DNS4EU project providing a sovereign, privacy-first public resolver as an alternative to Google and Cloudflare DNS. Domain registration is well-served by Gandi and OVHcloud, but no European provider matches the programmatic DNS capabilities, global anycast performance, or developer tooling of Cloudflare DNS or AWS Route 53.
